Jay Buhner Rawlings Rookie 1987 Yankees Bat
I will post photos tomorrow. Up for sale is an 87 block letter Rawlings bat. In block is Jay Buhner. BONE is written on the knob as well as all the proper info such as model, batch # and 7. The bat exhibits tremendous use with several ball, seam and rack marks and the trade mark buhner heavy tar. Jay did not start taping his bats until the late 80s/early 90s.
This is a beautiful example of a rare buhner rookie bat. Looking for $300 plus $15 shipping. Paypal ok as a gift or ad 3%.
A little about me. My user ID on eBay is gameusedbat, I have over 1100 positive feedback since 1999. In 2000, I started gameusedgear.com and was quickly a large player in Seattle sports memorabilia. I brokered Ichiro's first game used mariners jersey for $25,000. Jay was a personal friend of mine and our kids went to school together. At one time I have 11 jerseys and 20 bats among other Buhner things. This is one of the last items from my collection and I would like to see it go to a good home.

Re: Jay Buhner Rawlings Rookie 1987 Yankees Bat
Hi - I am interested in the bat. Please email me at licciardi_frank@yahoo.com if it is still available. I am a Yankees fan and the bat is a painful memory for me of how we used to do business. Now all I need would be a Ken Phelps bat to make my nightmare complete... Please let me know!
Regards,
Frank
