1971 Houston Astros Flannel
Anyone have an opinion on this jersey? I know Ball Park Heroes is legit and they have nice stuff. My question is what do you guys think about the jersey and the fact it is not 100 original? Does the fact the name and number on back have been restored make the value any less? Astros flannels are hard to find and this is a rare 1 year model. I'm assuming the price is in the range of what they would go for. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: 1971 Houston Astros Flannel
I wouldn't let the restoration deter me, as it looks to be done well (see photo).
The style itself is scarce and an all-original specimen (I.e., original NOB) is very rare. The price seems to be Ok at this time. Also, give BPH credit for advertising up front that there's a restoration. More than once we've seen dealers and auction house either cover this up or not be aware of something like this.

Re: 1971 Houston Astros Flannel
Dave thanks for the response. I've wanted a Astros flannel for a long time and this is a rare 1 year style. Would go great with my rare 1 year style 1972 road jersey.
