NFL Auction jersey game issued turn out to be game worn!
Hello fellow collectors, I was wondering if anyone has ever bought a game issued jersey from NFL Auctions only to find out it showed signs of game wear? The jersey in question is the jets James Dearth 2009 throwback. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks!

It's possible that it is used. I've gotten an issued jersey that was sold as game used from them . Loa or not you must always figure out what you really got.
So if you did get a used jersey..... You scored!
Happy collecting!

Not football but I have bought "issued" items from baseball teams that show great use.
Always looking for anything John Flaherty, Drew Storen and Marcell Ozuna game used.

Re: NFL Auction jersey game issued turn out to be game worn!
I've bought game used jerseys that turned out to be issued and issued jerseys that turned out to be game worn. It seems a lot of times people just really don't know the "technical" difference that we do. The knowledge just isn't there - like when I've bought some "issued" jerseys from the Titans, a few have had as many as 10-15 repairs - FAR from just a issued backup jersey.
Good score, by the way!
