Plain old blue bic pen. I've been using them for a while and have not complaints.
Always looking for anything John Flaherty, Drew Storen and Marcell Ozuna game used.

Blue Bic Crystal Pens for standard Official MLB baseballs
I also like getting black MLB baseballs signed too and get them signed in Gold Deco-color paint pen. Comes out GREAT!! matches the gold stitching.

Re: pens for autographs
the standard white barrel blue bics.
I would not recommend lumocolor as they will fade over time. Whichever you choose make sure its a ball point and blue.

Griffey24fan,
Have you, personally, had problems with lumocolor? or seen them fade?
I have had no problems with them fading.

Re: pens for autographs
I use one the Fisher Brand Space Pens that have the pressurized cartridge. They always write the first time and look great on a baseball.

Re: pens for autographs
Yes I have had a handful of Mays baseballs from the foundation that have bled/faded.
Blue is the ideal color for collectors and will bring more $$ when reselling than black. Black has a tendency to fade turn purple.
