Bat Displaying methods
How do you guys display your bats? Pics would be great! Would like some ideas before shelling out the cash to set something up.

Re: Bat Displaying methods
A little Velcro to hold the bat tubes to the back of the rack. Best way I've figured out to get maximum bats on a wall, have them horizontal, and be able to easily pull them down to look at. The baseball cards give the display some color. And, they are easy and inexpensive to build.

Re: Bat Displaying methods
Just started my collection but going to get an individual case for each bat and continue stacking them up... not the cheapest way but like the way they look. Each case costs about 25-30 bucks.

Re: Bat Displaying methods
Michael's actually sells these cases for $60 retail.. but I wait until they have their 50% offs and then stack a 15% off sale item coupon they sometimes have on top of that. I still have a few game used bats in tubes as I wait for the cases to go on sale.
Just an fyi though, the older cases don't have removable holders that you can swap so the bat will face the wrong direction (and you would have to flip the case to face it the correct way). The newer ones corrected this. So make sure you get the newer one or it sort of sucks..

Where did you pick that up??! I am sure that wasn't a cheap. Even the g/f thought it was cool, and she is hard to please when speaking about buying more baseball stuff.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else out there want to show off their set up!?

Re: Bat Displaying methods
[QUOTE=Sabo90;323715]a local store was closing it's doors and everything was for sale. i saw these on the ends of gondolas along with other sizes and shapes and bought some. some we square shape but this one is nicer and wide enough to display 36" bats. blacks hooks i bought online. if i remember correctly, each unit averaged maybe $20 plus hooks. $30 total maybe. pretty good deal. and i like this way better than any store bought display or case.
