Los Angeles Raiders Presentation Game Ball vs Jets 10/10/1993

Offered is a presentation game ball from the Los Angeles Raiders win over the New York Jets on October 10, 1993. The official ball was hand painted with the details of the game as is customary with these balls.

The ball was presented to Dr Robert Albo, the long-time Raiders team physician and a noted orthopedic surgeon. Dr Albo was beloved by the Raiders and the feeling was mutual. The team presented Dr Albo with many game balls over the years. This one is a bit unusual in that it was from the Raiders years in LA. Dr Albo was such a passionate fan he continued to serve the team in LA even though his practice was based in Oakland.

The ball was purchased from the good Dr's estate after he passed away in 2011.

As an aside, Dr Albo was very interested in the art of Magic, and had the world's premier collection of magic apparatus.
