Very nice collection. BP seems like a great guy.

Have you ever come across the Camo reds jerseys they wore a few years back. Not sure if they ever sold them off.

Awesome collection again Ryan!!! I have only a couple Brandon Phillips items, but both have personal meaning.

Game used 2012 bat (from Goldin Auction) that is photo-matched to my 1yr old son's birth date on 5/5/12.

Also, game used ball from my son's first Reds game that was authenticated to a pitch in dirt to Jay Bruce, but was a single by Phillips two pitches prior. He signed it to my son at a VIP event for Reds Caravan...GREAT GUY!!!

I echo Himes' sentiment about how nice BP is in person. Also, in the realm of collectors we should give him kudos for caring about what he signs his name to. He would only do this inscription after inspecting the MLB auth on the item. Then, he seemed to genuinely enjoy doing the inscription.

Here is another inscribed Phillips ball, which can currently be seen at the Reds Hall of Fame. Same thing with Phillips inspecting the MLB Auth info before inscribing was the case here.

Phillips inscription on an item is worthwhile in my view.

I should note that BP is doing a signing at Sports Gallery (513) 759-4256 just north of Cincinnati on the afternoon of Saturday June 8th, 2013. For local fans and collectors, I should note Sports Gallery events generally provide the opportunity to meet the player in a fantastic atmosphere as well.

For those who are focused on inscriptions, I owe gratitude for my favorite inscription ever (Andy Dalton) to Sports Gallery. They helped select the appropriate pen and were fantastic working with the athlete to achieving exactly what I wanted. They also provided photos of the athlete signing as a courtesy, which I hadn't even requested. Dalton surely wasn't the only time I've attained an inscription through Sports Gallery and all my experiences have been great.

That is really cool he did that detailed inscription on that ball.

Mark Fugate and Sports Gallery are incredible. I've known and dealt with mark for many years. His Reds gamer knowledge is incredible.
