Re: What is your "WHITE WHALE"...
For me its the bat and jersey that Felix hernandez used to hit a grand slam off of johan santana in New York on june 23, 2008. I'm not even sure whos bat he was using at the time. It adds to the sentiment that my best friend is a Mets fan and I live in NY

Re: What is your "WHITE WHALE"...
My white whale would have to be a Clay Matthews GU helmet. I doubt I'll ever actually come across one but I can only hope.

Mine would be this Dan Marino Super Bowl game worn helmet auctioned off by Heritage a few years ago.....

Not that I could ever afford it, but it's nice to dream

Re: What is your "WHITE WHALE"...
A GU Vladimir Guererro Helmet and shin guard from his time with the Angels.
My grail items: A Vlad GU Helmet from his Angels days, GU Angel jerseys and bats from Downing, Grich, Bourjos, or a game used home jersey from any member of the '61 team.

I think mine would be a GU'ed Helmet or cleats of Oronde Gadsden.
I was finally lucky enough to get a game used rookie year jersey of gadsdens early this year.

Mike Schmidt game used uncracked bat. I know they aren't that rare I just really need to take the time and save for one.

Something I'll never own: Jeff Bagwell's 1994 Gold Glove Award. Frik can always dream, right?
