Anyone watching the "new" Antiques Roadshow episodes?
PBS is re-airing episodes of the Antiques Roadshow that were originally recorded in 1998. At the end of each appraisal, they also give a current 2013 price. It has been very interesting to see how many items are worth the same amount or LESS than they were 15 years ago.
The show hasn't featured many sports-related items, but they have highlighted many toys, jewelry, furniture, advertising and pop art. Between the economy and the internet (which has separated the truly rare items from the not-so-rare), things really are different today than just 15 years ago.

Re: Anyone watching the "new" Antiques Roadshow episodes?
I don't like to tell too many people that I actually enjoy that show, but I do. My wife calls me an "old man" every time she catches me watchin' it.
As for the values..Yeah, it doesn't surprise me too much. In 98 my works' stock was around $90 a share. Today $19.
