    Good Guy Joey Votto

    Wanted to share this story. Joey Votto invited a terminally ill man to a Reds game two days before he passed away. The fan. Jeff Crews, passed away two days after attending the game - that game being Homer Bailey's no-hitter.

    Condolences to the Crews family and a hat tip to Votto.

    Deep sympathy for the family’s loss... It is nice to see Votto observed publicly for making a choice off the diamond that is as well constructed as the baseball choices we see from him every day.

    For myself and some others in our hobby, it makes honoring Votto the player more prideful. Also nice to learn of this from you, Jack. You helped me pursue my Votto collecting two years ago and I am grateful to you every time I look at the item, Jack.
