1996 Florida Gators Trophy Game Ball 65-0 over Kentucky

Have a trophy Presentation game ball that was given to jacquez Green. This came out of a storage unit owned by Jacquez.

This ball is a Wilson 1001

I asked Jacquez about this football and he said it was mst likely either game used or practice used then painted up.

The football is from the 1996 National Championship season for the Florida Gators and was from the September game against Kentucky.

Jacquez had 2 punt returns in the game of 79 yards and 66 yards, along with 4 catches for 46 yards. Tim Couch QB for Kentucky went 6 for 18 for 13 yards in the loss.

This game was the most point the Gators scored that year and their only shutout of the season.

I have had a few trophies balls (Buccaneers and University of Minnesota) and none of them had the appearance of being game used and none had any special markings, which further makes me believe this ball certainly was issued and used in the game or in practice for the 1996 season.

I got another Jacquez Green trophy ball that is Buccaneers related out of the same storage unit and that ball is in perfect condition, so which further makes me think this Gators ball was used...
