With being in the midst of the MLB All Star break, I thought I'd post a couple scans of one of my favorite signed Ripken items.

The 2001 All Star Game was played in Seattle and was also Cal Ripken's last appearance in the contest. His first time up, he launched a HR into the left field bull pen off the Dodgers Chan Ho Park, helping lead the A.L. squad to victory (Cal was eventually named games MVP).

The game was broadcasted on radio by ESPN with Charlie Steiner doing the Play By Play, and when Cal hit that HR, he broadcasted the words "Did He Do It?, Did He Do It?, He Did!"....These words are heard often when they show ASG highlights on TV.

Anyways, I thought it would be cool to have an 2001 All Star ball dual signed by both Steiner & Cal. Fortunately, I had a contact in the Orioles Pressbox & when Steiner was working with the Yankees a few years ago, he was able to secure his signature for me before a game with the unique inscriptions (Steiner thought it was a really cool idea). After securing Steiner, I added Cal:
