My Collection (game worn, All-American, college baseball jerseys)

Hello,

I have been a long time lurker who decided to take up game worn jersey collecting after seeing so many wonderful collections posted here on the GUU forum. I love sports in general, and after seeing so many wonderful things posted on this forum, I wanted to collect EVERYTHING. However, because my disposable income is limited, I had to figure out the focus of my game worn collection. After a lot of soul searching, I finally figured out what I wanted to collect: game worn, All-American, college baseball jerseys. Thus far, I have only collected a few, but I was pretty excited to start posting. I will continue to update this thread as I add to my collection. Comments and questions are always welcome. Enjoy!

Patience, I guess. I don't really have a lot of money to spend, so I have to make every penny (literally) count. I am discovering that finding college jerseys for specific players is really hard. The Sinisi for example was re-used by Rice University for several seasons after he left. If you look closely, you can see a C-USA patch on the right sleeve. Rice didn't join Conference USA until 2005. Sinisi left Rice after the 2003 season. What I really like about this jersey is that on the inside of the right sleeve you can actually see where the old WAC patch used to be (the outline of the old stitching is clearly visible). At this point in time, I only have my eyes on one or two jerseys to buy. If I am lucky enough to land those, it might be a while until I can add to my collection. I have a nice one coming in tomorrow (I hope), so hopefully I can get a chance to post some pics.

That's pretty cool. I'd love to get a hold of a Drew Storen Stanford jersey but have never seen one. I emailed a few people that work there and haven't gotten any responses.

Guess I'll just have to be patient and let it come to me.

I will keep an eye out. Like you, I have never seen one; but hey, you never know. Two sets of eyes looking is better than one!
