Screen Worn Jersey - Angels in the Outfield (1994)

Not the usual item I would tend to list here, I am looking to part ways with a screen worn jersey from the Walt Disney movie "Angels in the Outfield" (1994). The jersey was worn by actor Tony Longo, who played the catcher Triscuitt Messmer in the film.

Longo is a big guy to say the least -- he is 6'6" and weighs 300 lbs...born in NJ, he turned down football scholarships to move to LA and pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He's been acting now for over 30 years.

Here are a few photos of Longo/Messmer in the film as well as a few pics of the jersey. The jersey is very large too, but understandably so!!! It has everything sewn on; ANGELS logo on front, CA patch, "MESSMER" on an arched nameplate; #14 sewn on back. There is a cloth tag from the studio sewn onto the lower front of the jersey with the name "Wayne Gross" on it -- unsure who he is or what his affiliation to the film or studio was.
