Adirondack 1455 bat Game used 50's Detroit?

If anybody is a game used bat collector, I just picked up a bat from a private seller who said he believed it may be from the Detroit Tigers around the 1950's. It is a Adirondack 1455 model it says "Selected Northern Stock"(script) above the logo with the "McLAUGHLUN-MILLARD,INC" above and "DOLCEVILLE-NEW YORK MADE IN USA"below the logo. it also has in script "flexible whip Action". The handle is taped with what appears to be period baseball tape. the knob is worn with no info on the head of the bat. he didnt promise anything, but advised his relative worked with the team in the 50's. any info would be appreciated thanks

Anything is possible, but if I were looking for an Adirondack that was used professionally I'd want one that was a 302 series only.
