    help with 1956 Yankes flannell

Hello I am new here and primarily a baseball card and program collector been collecting since 1973 when I went to my first baseball card show in nyc and came home with a 1934 Goudy Gehrig. As a Yankee fan I have always looked at and sometimes bid on jerseys I came across and this is the only one I own. It is a 1956 Joe Collins jersy that was sent down to the Minor leauges (Triplets) and the NY on the front and the 15 on the back have been removed and Triplets on the front as well as sleeve patch and renumbered to 25. Mr Collins lived nearby and my Dad took it to a local card show and had it autographed before he passed away in 1989. Looking to sell this and wonder is it best to have it restored or leave it as is and let new owner decide? I understand that restored will hit valuation but will more folks e interested in a fully restored 1956 Yankee uniform or as is. Thanks in advance for your help. I am on NET54 with same id if you have any card related questions I can help with..
