Unique Unfinished LVS factory Derek Jeter bat
Offered is an unfinished LVS Derek Jeter bat.
The bat is stamped on opposite sides. The pics are of both stamps. There is also an ink blotch on the handle. It is something they do to bats so you can see the grain after they paint it.
The ink spot on the handle is what they use on "prime maple" bats. I think that ink spot is new because LVS website said the ink dot marks the very best maple timber, and signifies that a bat meets true MLB slope of grain and is certified for MLB play.
The nubs on both side are uncut. Burn marks still present.
Nice displace piece and conversation piece.
