    Re: September Pick Ups

Just added a major piece to my Cincinnati Reds collection! This beautiful 1961 home Reds jersey was worn by Eddie Kasko. All original. Set 2. World Series year.

Got this great looking San Diego Chargers helmet in late August.

Finally, 2 more Senior League game used jerseys added to that sector of my collection. What's interesting to note, both are Explorers jerseys, the Cloninger is Bradenton, the Clete Boyer is Daytona. The Daytona jersey is from the second year of the league, and judging by the "plainness" of the jersey, one could tell the league was in trouble.

    Re: September Pick Ups

I've wanted to pickup at Detroit Tiger locker nameplate for a while, but never pulled the trigger. I was able to purchase this Carlos Guillen 2007 locker nameplate from JoeTiger through the Collector to Collector thread.

This particular locker nameplate was collected after the final home game of the 2007 season (one of three All Star season Guillen had with the Tigers 04, 07 and 08).

I'm always looking for Carlos Guillen game used items. Specifically:

    Tigers Road jersey
Tigers specialty jerseys (Jackie Robinson Day, Negro League, Turn Back the Clock, etc.)
Game used bats, helmets, etc. - preferably MLB authenticated.

Please e-mail me at mbrieve at yahoo dot com

His first auto of his hero, Starling Marte. It's a very good start and something he will cherish forever.

While technically not game used, this did preside at all the games at Dunedin Blue Jays this season. It is the coolest item I have ever had! It is 8 feet long and 5 feet high, double-sided heavy vinyl.
