2012 Nike NFL Jersey - Number Change?

Has anyone come across one of the new 2012 Nike NFL jerseys with a number change? I understand that nameplate removals are fairly common but numbers, especially on brand new jerseys? I'll post some pictures later.....what are your thoughts?

My initial reaction, based only on what you've said so far...
I'd start from the position that it's an attempt to deceive. There'd have to be clear evidence to demonstrate it's something else.

Here are some pics of the number change. The jersey was #11 Mohamed Massaquoi, which 2012 was his last year on the team. 2012 would be Brandon Weedens first year. I assume there is a possibility that the nameplate was changed but there isn't anything obvious, which it would seem there would be with a name long name like Massaquoi but then again maybe not.

After looking at numerous 2012 Topps RC cards of Brandon Weeden, I'm convinced this jersey was worn during his Topps Rookie Photo Shoot. Big thanks to himes for finding the match!

decent shoulder picture of the "1" that was removed. Shows up really well on ebay using the zoom feature.
