I prefer folding the jerseys. I also refold them every six months so that they won't develop creases. As for autographed jerseys, I place lignin free/acid free tissue paper on the underside & over the autographs. It slows down the fading of the autograph. Also if you handle your jerseys a lot try to use clean cloth gloves the oils from your hands will cause harm to your jersey. Cotton gloves works the best.

Here's a seller that explains about lignin free paper.

Thanks for the info on the lignin free paper. Will check it out.

I'm an advocate of these...easy accessibility, allows the garment to breathe and acid free!!

Those boxes are great. I do have a couple of them, unfortunately the shipping to Hawaii is more than the cost of the box it's self.

You can fit up to 5 jerseys in the box, but I only put 3 to a box. I didn't want the bottom jersey under the weight of the other jersey that are on top of it.

What do you make of this link?

Regarless of what anyone may say or think, the best method to find out if there is anything of danger in something is to contact the manufacturers. I did with Zip Lock Plastic Bags. I have over 100 Albums in the Gallon sized Zip Lock Bags. I contacted the manufacturer and asked. And naturally I was informed the Federal Government makes it mandatory that there is NO PVC in any product that comes in contact with food.
So rather than stories that may or may not be true, contact the manufacturers.

I don't know about other brands of bag, but Ziploc Brand does NOT contain PVC
