Cubs Dejesus '12 Jersey on Ebay
Extreme newbie - thanks for taking my question.
This one look legit to you guys? Wondering if anyone can verify Cubs went to series 7 in 2012.

Yes - jersey looks good. I have seen 2012 Cubs jersey's up to set 15.
I have a DeJesus Blue Alternate game used jersey (9 46 '12 S2) with game home pants (9 35-40 36 OB C '12 S15). If you are interested, I could make you a better deal than the jersey on ebay. E-mail me: dan at drpress dot us

Definately looks legit. This season I remember seeing a jersey at Wrigley at the Cubs Authentics booth it was a set 13. They had opening game jerseys, and I cant remember who the player was but he wore a set 6 on opening day...so set numbers are not a true sign of how many they wear.
Hope that helps.

A while back, I saw a Steiner authenticated Cubs gamer of Derrek Lee on eBay. It was a set 4.
Truthfully, and I may be in the minority, I believe that, in MLB, sets aren't worn numerically based on set number (i.e., Opening Day doesn't always mean everyone has a set 1 jersey on, and the player's highest set number isn't automatically what he wears in the home or road finale.) The whole "set 1, first half; set 2, second half" hobby doctrine is, IMHO, more myth than fact.
