Conducting Jersey Research - Need Help!
Going back to the 90's to present, did players wear regular season jersey during spring training?

Re: Conducting Jersey Research - Need Help!
Some teams have. The Yankees wore both homes and roads for much of that time frame, although they seem to be heading away from that more recently. The Cardinals still wear game jerseys in March, as do the Tigers (not sure there if home and road or just home). The Cubs still wear game jerseys for spring home games. The Indians wore game jerseys in spring at least until 1994, and the Rangers also for roughly the same time. I hope this helps start you off.

During the 90s the Indians only did it once to my knowledge. They changed jersey style between 1993 and 1994. So, in Spring Training 1994 they wore 1993 jerseys before changing styles for opening day in 1994. Otherwise, they wore different jerseys.

Worth noting on those 1993 Tribe gamers: Every one I saw being worn on the field had the Olin/Crews memoriam patch removed. While there are a few '93 Indians gamers out there with original patches, it would be safe to say that most in the marketplace have had the patch reattached.
