    So this is rather interesting,

Now all the things wrong here.

Ashley Ambrose wore #33 in 1995.

Not even sure the Colts had a Rhodes on the team then.

Rhodes was a rookie in 2001, so he was actually in high school in 95.

Wilson was not supplying Colts jerseys in 2001 when Rhodes first stated.

It's not that uncommon to use older stock but I've personally never seen a team use older stock with manufacturer tagging that is not the current provider. So if the current provider is Nike, I have not seen a team use older Reebok jerseys/pants...

I have a San Diego Chargers jersey with the Adidas manufacturer tag on the tail when the league switched to Reebok. The team just sewed on blue patches to cover the Adidas logo on the sleeves. I think the Vikings recycled their Starter jerseys from 1997 and 98 for the 1999 season when Puma was their new supplier. They just sewed the Puma patch over the Starter logo. So it may not be uncommon.

Yes, I have seen jerseys with the new manufacturer logo sewn over the outgoing one but not blatantly use the old logo a few years down the line...

I'm not saying that jerseys don't get reused, sure they do. I'm just wondering if they see duty 6 years later, it seems unrealistic for a pro sports team.

Not to mention between Ambrose and Rhodes, several players wore #33. Clif Groce, Craig Heyward and Karim Abdual Jabbar.

During than same time the Colts changed providers from Wilson to Puma then Logo Athletic.

Im just not seeing an equipment manager saying "Rhodes, you want 33, here you go" and pulling a jersey out to do a 3rd name change in 6 years on it. That seems a bit far fetched, generally when they switch providers most of the stuff is dumped. Yet this jersey lived through it, twice?

This is 100% an error. No way would they have used this jersey in 2001.
