I just got my Hunt Auction Catalog yesterday and there are 3 "game used" Yankees jerseys with no Steiner hologram in sight! I wonder if they can be matched up to any we have seen out there.

They have the big 3====Clemens, Jeter and Matsui of course!

......and LOA's from MEARS on the Clemens and Matsui and LOU LAMPSON on the Jeter!!! The Matsui got a low A4 rating from MEARs and not sure about the other two jerseys.

My opinion is that any minor differences between the two signatures in question can be due to the different angle of the shots (one was shot about head on, the other at more of an angle) and that the jersey surfaces have different bends (neither were pulled flat). To me they appear to be the same signature.

My opinion on the Yankees Clemens Game Used Jersey.

First of all wasn't it explained here on the forum that it is normal for Clemens to cut the tags out of his Jerseys?

Second of all the Jersey and Patches look crisp and Brand New.
Look at the tags for the extra inches - They are crisp and sharp / the ink is dark as if it was brand new.

I have a World Series Yankees Game Used Jersey and from it being washed shows even the patches do lose some integrity, the tags lose some color and are not perfectly straight and crisp.

Just my opinion.

Interesting note-

The buyer who was originally interested in the Stephen Jackson doctored game issue jersey which started this thread was also sent photos by Steve Misturini of Authentic Sports of the Marvin Harrison "game used" jersey currently in the Bricol Auction.

Those photos were then sent to me for my opinion.

Does it look like the signature and the words "game used" were written by the same pen?
