Luck Patch Card Confusion

Im always perplexed by these "event" used cards,

Where would Luck be out wearing a replica jersey of his? It seems the only place that "patch" could come from is the K in his name.

I've seen a lot of player worn patch cards (especially from Upper Deck Exquisite over the past 10 years) that have a piece of nameplate letter that clearly couldn't have come from that player's name.

On the Luck card, it almost looks more like an R.

But even if it is a K, where the hell are the L, U, and C???
