    Your Favorite Team's Rarest Jerseys

So I thought it would be cool to make a thread about my favorite team and the hardest to find jerseys they have worn throughout their history. My hope is that other forum members will post the same about their favorite team/s and that this thread can be used if ever these rare jerseys become available for sale. My team as my name and collection implies is the Florida/Miami Marlins. I will make 2 categories for my team: 1. Rarest Jerseys Worn and 2. Hardest (notable) player jerseys to obtain. I welcome everyone's feedback and hope to see other members post their own rarest jerseys of their beloved teams.

    Florida/Miami Marlins Rarest Jerseys Worn:

    1. 1999 Turn Ahead the Clock Jersey

    2. 2013 Digi Camo Road Jersey (one of two times they wore grey in 2013) (my understanding is that the players all kept their jerseys from this game)

    3. 2013 Turn Back the Clock (1956) Miami Marlins Road Jersey (second of 2 times they wore grey in 2013) (my understanding is the Marlins were unable to sell these jerseys because of a licensing issue with the maker of these jerseys)

    4. 2007 Turn Back the Clock Vests (1997) (worn for only one game) I have seen only a few of these ever sell on the market and I own the one worn by Cody Ross

Florida/Miami Marlins Hardest Player Jerseys to Find:
    1. Mike Piazza (1998) (I know of only one of his Marlins gamers, owned by a fellow GUU member)
    2. Carlos Delgado (2005)
    3. Luis Gonzalez (2008)
    4. Mike/Giancarlo Stanton (2010-Present) (I have never seen one of his gamers for sale)

Im definitely a huge fan of the 1956 TBTC Flannel jersey. Im hoping this next sale at the stadium will at least have some game used or issued stuff. I have only seen one 1999 TATC style jersey surface and it was on this website. I believe it was Alex Gonzalez.

For the Cubs, I'll nominate three knit era road styles, as all Cubs flannel styles are tough"

    1972 road (1-year style)

1976-77 Cubs road (very few around that weren't shipped off to the minor leagues)

1990 Cubs road (1-year style, most sent to minors):

If no one else covers the White Sox in a day or two, I'll offer my thoughts on those as well.

    Twins have some cool ones
Turn Ahead Clock jersey. Always seem to have one on display at Twinsfest.

    Red DQ jersey

I believe in 1972 they wore a one year style??? anybody know

Couldn't find a picture of it. But Twins wore a all black Minneapolis Millers throwback recently. Was pretty cool. Sold them on MLB auctions with helmets. MAybe someone here owns one.

Yep...the one Harmon is wearing on that card was a 1972-only grey road style with an oddball Twins sleeve logo patch, and made by Spalding. About 20 years ago or more, Hartel Sports made a bulk buy from the Twins that included a couple dozen commons of this style, but it appears all or nearly all are now in private collections. Most of these had additional minor league usage and were worn to a more obvious degree.
