Was reading this article of Michigan State wearing 1979 throwback jersey and was curious as to how frequent do college teams wearing throwback jerseys. How frequently are throwbacks worn at other levels besides the professional level and please supply me with known examples if possible.

The University of Oklahoma has wore throwbacks uniforms twice in it's history.

The first occurred on August 30th, 2003 in Norman.

The latest occurrence November 21st, 2009 in Lubbock.
