Andre Dawson Cubs 1988 GU set on LA
Looking to get some opinions on this one:

I want to believe it but I have a few concerns specifically about the jersey.
1. Size is a 48, but everything I see about Dawson shows he wore a 44 for the majority of his career, with one or two 46's out there.
2. From what I've seen the smaller white "set" tag is typically to the bottom right of the primary Rawlings tag NOT directly to the right of the jersey #, year, size tag. The placement looks wrong on this one.
Appreciate your thoughts

I agree with you on the sizing aspect. I looked at several of his gamers looks like he wore a 44 early on and a 46 later in his career.
What bothers me more is that Legendary/MastroNet sold a 1988 blue jersey back in 2003. That jersey is sized a 44. A simple bit of research could have caught this.

Also if you zoom in on the Rawlings tag something does not look right like it has been re-sewn or at the least tampered with. Can the Set2 1988 tag look anymore crisp ?

Here is a comparison of the Dawson jersey tag to some of the others out there:

Stay away stay far away. The jersey in question was not worn by Dawson. It should be obvious if the jersey shows no use and the tags look messed with.

If they would have done their homework it would never have been listed. It took me all of 5 minutes to look it up in their database. Just another reason to do your own authenticating before taking a companies word.
