Re: Chase Utley - Keeping it classy
According to JT...
"The unique feature of the bat is the stamping of ‘F_ _ k You’ on the handle. Obviously a factory stamp, we contacted Marucci, got a chuckle and was told someone apparently was playing a joke on Chase. Whatever the case this bat is emblazoned with stamping we will likely never see again."

That bat gave me a great chuckle. However, it doesn't fit into my collection, so I won't be purchasing it.

If it was uncracked I would have considered it. Still a cool bat!

Re: Chase Utley - Keeping it classy
This bat is amazing, the price for it however is not. Especially considering that his 09 NLCS bat sold on the same site addy ago for only $800. Otherwise I would have already bought it

Re: Chase Utley - Keeping it classy
I wonder if it was the Amish people that craft the bats pulled this prank

Re: Chase Utley - Keeping it classy
I just picked up an issued Utley F-U bat, so the one Taube had isn't the only one.
