UNKNOWN: Vintage Wilson durene football jersey
Hi...another one....a heavy durene, dark green WILSON football gamer.
Team may be impossible to pinpoint, but can anyone tell me the era from the tagging?
Thanks!

1950s Wilson tagging. Notre Dame wore green in the 50s with no shoulder numbers. I'm not saying, I'm just saying. Check some photos of the Irish from the 50s.

corbis.com
Don't let the Corbis management know you can't read their watermark.

Re: UNKNOWN: Vintage Wilson durene football jersey
That is actually mid 60's wilson tagging, Late 50's - early 60's Wilson tagging was the bigger square patch tag that is seen on cardinal, 49ers and rams jersey of this era.
Wilson switched to this smaller rectangle patch tag for only a few years in the 60's. My research shows that it was usually used on jackets between the years of 64-67.
