Mets home flannel on eBay
I’m interested in anyone’s thoughts about this 1970 Mets flannel of Ken Singleton that is currently up on eBay. What is the likelihood that Singleton, who stood 6’ 4” and weighed 210 lbs. (according to the Mets roster in 1970 Street and Smith), wore a size 42 jersey? Also, the (one) 1970 home Mets flannels that I’ve seen didn’t have the size tag along side the Spalding tag. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure I've seen a couple of Singleton's Orioles jerseys in size 42.

I agree that Singleton took a 42 in many Orioles knits. That said, the seller is one who has drawn his share of ire and skepticism in other threads on GUU. You might want to research a few of those before you make a bid.
