There is a 1995 Frank Thomas game used size 48 jersey on eBay right now. It is the grey version with the 95 anniversary patch on one sleeve and the Sox diamond logo on the other. The jersey shows being made by AIS and there are no other tags. No 35-48-95 tag or 2x long tag. I don't know anything about a AIS jersey but would there be no ID tagging in a 95 jersey?

I don't recall the White Sox ever using AIS, except for maybe one or two Negro League TBTC games in the 2000s. I've never seen an AIS Sox jersey of any other player from the mid-1990s and this Thomas is the only one I've ever seen attributed to him. In 1995 the Sox wore both Russell (with sleeve logo) and Wilson (no sleeve logo). All in all, too shaky to spend Thomas money on.

AIS has made high-quality uniform reproductions for many sports movies, including "Little Big League" in 1994. Most of these jerseys seem to be very faithful to the originals worn by the real clubs, with the exception of the tagging (and the AIS brand).Comment

Here's a Buffalo Bills jersey that was made by AIS for a TV movie. The Ebay seller has even included a still showing the shirt being worn. Even though the jersey has the correct Puma logos on the sleeves, it has the AIS tag in the tail!
