Yankees aren't like other teams and do specific at bats or foul balls, hits. They only do generic game balls last I knew. -

I didn't see them authenticate it on the video, but I thought I've seen game used hit balls that were authenticated at Yankee Stadium from this year?Comment

From what I have seen, Yankees only authenticate baseballs as game used; nothing specific.Comment

Well, if that's true it's a damn shame. Lots of good stuff missed out on there...Comment

Re: Wil Myer's inside the park home run from today...
Steiner makes far more money by them *not* authenticating specific plays balls, since they can sell a bunch of less important balls as "game used during X event/play" balls, instead.Comment

Re: Wil Myer's inside the park home run from today...
It's crazy for me to think the Yankees do not authenticate individual hit balls more often. Especially with Steiner charging outragous prices for there game used Jerseys and bats etc. The Red Sox don't either. I called them to see if they had any Jeter/Ellsbury hits during their series last month and they told me they do not authenticate baseballs individually. They're all just grouped as game used balls. All that history between these two teams wasted.Comment
