Interested in any opinions on this '91 Sandberg Jersey on Grey Flannel:

I have no obvious concerns. The tagging appears to be consistent with '91 cubs jerseys that have sold elsewhere. There looks to be some evidence of use on the front, but hard to tell without examining in person. That darn "set" tag always looks suspicious, but there are other authenticated Cubs jerseys from this era with a similar tag... and of course some without.

Bidding on recent Sandberg jerseys offered by Bid AMI and SCP appears to have been more aggressive, but both of those items had very good supporting evidence and the SCP one in particular was from an early year which helped to drive the price up.

Cubs fans always drive up prices. There is something insane about them. Perhaps the long drought from a Championship contributes to the reckless bidding.

Chess, I don't think the drought has anything to do with it. The Cubs have a very large and passionate fan base. Prices are going to be higher for the Cubs items than mid to small market teams.

Not to mention the area of the city the Cubs fans are centralized in is also a wealthier fan base than the cross town White Sox.
