i was really excited when i saw this jersey pop up, but then i noticed some issues the jersey had, here are some pictures, the neck tag is wrong for 2001, they wore that style in 2002 and 2003, in the pictures you can see that that rice wore two styles of jerseys with different neck tags, maybe it could have been a one game thing in 2001, any help?

Its pretty simple. Chances are this jersey was carried over from 01 till 02 and they swapped out the NFL Shield

Mattapan03 so do you think this jersey in your opinion is 100 percent authentic and worn by rice?

In this situation unless you can find a match personally I would not bid. Wait save your money until one comes along that is not questionable by a questionable company

Someone thinks it's worth something. It's over 1k now.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see it in another auction down the road with
the NFL shield changed out ; )
