Help with Wilson jersey team ID & tagging

Hey everyone,

Seems to be a trend in this forum. I picked up a nice Wilson baseball jersey with LA on the left sleeve and a couple of unusual tags stapled to the front. Ive attached pics. Any help with a possible team and/or the reason for the tags would be extremely helpful.

Post 1931, due to the "Wilson Sporting Goods Co" name.
You could also narrow down the youngest it can be based upon the lack of the Wilson name bearing a Trademark or Registered moniker after it.

Wilson did make lots of jerseys for high schools, American Legion, clubs, etc, so it might be very tough to give a definitive answer on what it is that the LA stands for.
