Spanjian (span-gee-un)...please don't say "Span-jan". Spanjian is my favorite vintage sportswear company! Some great work with durene. In the late 60s and 70s, they made jerseys for the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns. They also produced 1,000s of uniforms for high schools and colleges across the country. Robert Spanjian owns the patent for "spandex", which was developed by his family's company.
