anyone recognize this "birmingham" baseball jersey?

in doing some digging, it has the same colors as birmingham southern college, but i dont think they ever wore this style.

I've seen a couple of those too, and I'm not sure about them either. I assumed Bham Southern may have worn them, but I've never seen them used...I've only seen them when I search for Birmingham jerseys on ebay...I'm in the dark too.

I was thinking that it was Birmingham Southern based on the colors. However, I have no clue whether they wore this style as the local newspapers rarely had photos of the Panthers games or any of the other local colleges. (It is mainly Alabama and Auburn football - 24/7, 365 with the local sports media - nothing else matters.)

For what it's worth, the jersey is probably from the mid-1980s through the early-to-mid 1990s based on the tagging, so that should greatly narrow the search. Does anyone have any Birmingham Southern media guides from that era?
