    I fully believe the theory that Belle didn't get votes was because he was a jerk and the goal was to intentionally disrespect him with a 7% vote tally... For a guy who put up his numbers and had his career ended at only 33 due to a chronic ailment, he deserved a little better.

    If you were an opposing AL team's fan in the 90s, he was the one guy you didn't want coming to the plate...

    Miguel Cabrera is a HOFer right now.

    If Albert Belle ever gets consideration in the future, maybe a Veterans Committee type thing and they only look at his numbers and not what an asshole he was, he'll get elected.
