    Detroit Tigers Batting Practice Experience

I will be participating in the Detroit Tigers batting practice experience at Comerica Park this weekend, where I get to play ball on the field and hit off of former Tiger Dave Rozema...has anyone else done this?

For anyone that has done a fantasy-type experience, do you have any pointers/suggestions you can pass along? I have gone out and bought a couple of wood bats...thinking about picking up my own helmet, already have cleats...any other thoughts?

    Thanks for any info!

Start stretching now. You don't want to pull anything and cut the experience short.

      Have fun!

Use a thumb guard like Direct Protect. It will take the sting out of hitting with a wood bat.

Thanks for all the thoughts...keep them coming!

I'm also considering picking up a GoPro camera and mounting it on my helmet/cap...has anyone ever used one while playing sports? Just wondering if the quality is worth the effort. Thanks!
