Lowest career # hit GU baseball taht you have?
On the game used hit baseballs in your collection, what is the lowest career hit that you have?
Does anyone have a certain player's #2 career hit baseball?
I say #2, because I would assume the first career hit almost always goes to the player's dugout for him, unless it was an un-retrieved homerun ball.

I own Joe Bensons second career hit baseball(first career double). Also own the bat that hit it and was also used for his first mlb hit.

Not exactly what you mean, but I own Shelby Miller's first HBP the ball he plunked Ryan Hanigan of the Cincinnati Reds.

A little stretch...... But I have a game used bat from Adam Greenberg.....his only appearance was with the Chicago Cubs...first pitch hit him in the head and ended his career.

Re: Lowest career # hit GU baseball taht you have?
Neat thread. Nothing too crazy here but a few that come to mind:
- Brett Lawrie's 29th hit (5th double, 18th RBI, game winner)
- Devin Mesoraco's 43rd hit (11th double) off Roy Halladay
- Homer Bailey's 3rd career extra base hit inscribed "better lucky than good"
- Yonder Alonso's 22nd hit (6th double) off Chris Carpenter
- Bryce Harper's 98th hit (17th double)
- Billy Hamilton's 20th hit and 20th stolen base (auth to SB, evidence to hit on prior pitch)
- Francisco Cervelli's 129th hit
- Johnny Cueto's 21st career hit (Dodger commemorative baseball)
- Eric Thames' 73rd career hit
- Evan Longoria 558th hit (not particularly early, but 2011 is early among his I've seen)
and on the other end of the spectrum:
- Edgar Renteria's final HR

Re: Lowest career # hit GU baseball taht you have?
I had the opportunity to get a players first hit, but it was a pitchers so I didn't really think it was worth the price.

I'm not much of a game used baseball guy, I only have two in my collection, but one is Jeff Samardzija's 16th career hit (3rd career double) used baseball. The funny thing is being a pitcher's hit ball I didn't really think of doing the research on this baseball until I saw this thread!

I have Jimmy Rollins career World Series hit #1. I know postseason hits don't fall into the same category as regular season hits but I thought it was a nice one to have for my collection.

Dee Gordon's #3 hit baseball; he also got his first SB right after the #3 hit. Gordon himself got the first two hit baseballs.
