    1974 Dogers Mike Marshall jersey

This is the first jersey from the 70s that I have purchased, and I am still trying to expand my knowledge as what is authentic and what is not. Any opinions on this jersey. There is evidence that there was a nameplate attached to the back and then removed. As can be seen in the photos the "M" looks to have been partially removed and then reattached. In doing this the lower legs of the "M" have been mangled. Any opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Matt:

From the photos, the jersey looks good. The nameplate outline (and the damage to the M) likely resulted from minor league recycling, fairly common in those days. The very stylish tag is normal for 1974-75 Dodgers gamers...homes were sets A, B and C, while road were sets 1, 2 and 3.
