    Red Sox Sale

Anyone know when the Red Sox garage sale is and how you sign up to be picked to go?

Check redsox.com or sign up for their emails. The last couple of years they have run the Yard Sale during the Christmas at Fenway Promotion.

For folks who have gone to the sale in the past, what are the prices like for game worn jerseys? Issued jerseys? Bats? Thanks!

Truthfully in the past couple of years that I have gone to, there were not any bats worth picking up. Most of what they had was signed bats and jerseys of traded players, but they weren't game used or issued versions. They have some jerseys of scrub players for $75 or so, but none were authenticated. It was cool to be there, but I wasn't impressed at all with what they were selling.

Do they ever sell any other items, such as equipment bags or other odd stuff? I've never been, but would like to one day...Fenway's a long way from my home...I've been to a game at Fenway once a couple of years ago, but I've never been to a sale there.

Great Red Sox never sent me a email about it or to register for the lottery to get tickets.

I think they weed out email addresses with "Yankees" in them.

Actually, the Red Sox never run a smooth operation with these things. You either know about it, find out about it somehow, or miss it. It doesn't seem to matter to them...

Season ticket holders were emailed and invited. I did not attend.
