Sand-Knit Medalist - NFL

Does anyone know what years Sand-Knit Medalist supplied jerseys to the NFL and specifically the San Diego Chargers?

I think 1989 was the Chargers' last year with MacGregor Sand Knit. They switched to Russell in 1990.

There were a handful of teams (such as the Packers) that used Sand-Knit unies in 1990, but that's the last year of issance. Going back in time, Sand-Knit existed at least back to the 1950s, and likely before that. At one point around then, the manufacturers' tags referred to them as "Sand Knitting Mills".
