1991 brewers "game used jersey" question
Hi guys,
I am interested in buying this jersey and it seems a little off. My initial reaction is that its missing the number on the front and the name on the back. I dont have one of these and i cant find any pics of them with out the name and number. It certainly looks authentic and i think they had a grey Batting practice jersey at that time as well. Maybe its a bp jersey maybe its a gamer. I figured someone one this board would know. any help is appreciated.

Looking at 1991 baseball cards on Ebay it looks like 1991 Brewers jerseys have the number on the front and the name on the back.

While it is a team-issued extra jersey, it is also missing the front number and NOB. Also, I think 42 might be a bit snug for Greg Brock.

I completely agree about the missing name and number. Im certain this was an extra from that year as both Brock and Spiers wore #9. i bought it anyway, jerseys from that time are hard to come by and even as an extra team issued I wanted to add it to the collection.
