Ken Griffey Jr. Game Used Bat

I recently picked up this Ken Griffey Jr. bat. Bat does not have his typical taped handle. Looking through Getty Images I was able to find a few examples of Griffey using a non taped bat. I don't know a whole lot about bats during this era. Appears to be 1997-98. Bat is 34". Bat has a cupped end. Bat appears to have medium use. Does this bat match his ordering records. Thanks for your assistance.

I can't match it to his records because what I am able to view does not list the foil color. I know he did go through a period where he wanted the bats very black because the grain bothered him while he was at the plate.
That does look like our Smith finish so I think it is game issued because we did put that on S125s and the 125 is not underlined.
