    USPS. would you worry

Would you worry yet about this package? The guy sent it last Thursday from New Jersey. It was supposed to be delivered Saturday. But the tracking has not been updated since Thursday at 5:50pm when it departed their post office and it has not shown up yet.

No. Tracking will stop sometimes too for a few days, and then boom it's delivered. It'll eventually arrive.

I've had several thousand transactions with the USPS over the past fifteen years, both as buyer and seller. I have never had a package disappear... A few may have been delayed or returned to sender, but never unaccounted for (eventually). Hope this helps!

We got almost 3 feet of snow in the Northeast last week. I believe the post offices in the Boston area were shut down for a day or 2, might be the same for New Jersey.

Short story, I live in Iowa, sent out a DVD to St. Louis and a bat to Houston via Priority Mail on 1/23. The bat gets to it's destination on the 26th while the DVD arrives where it's supposed to on the 29th. Go figure!

I recently had two priority mail shipments take 8 days to get to me. Tracking was never updated till the 7th - 8th day.
