    Here is a 1978 jersey that I'm sure went to the minors. If you look up the #59 that's on the tag it comes up with Steve Mura. The number 24 belonged to Dave Wehrmeister. There is remnants of the All-Star game patch being removed.

    Lon Lewis could probably restore the jersey for you if you were interested. He does great work! He restored my 1978 home Dave Roberts jersey....

    Not only will the nameplate on the back need to be restored, but also the tiny SAN DIEGO lettering that appears above the beginning of the "padres" team name.

    Fascinating. I have Mura's home jersey from 78 also renumbered (to 58) and stripped.

    Anyone know what minor league team used them? Reno?

    More than likely these were used by the minor leaguers during spring training in the back fields of Yuma.

    By the late 70's early 80's, the top Padres affiliates had their own uniforms. Possibility of Amarillo, Reno or Walla Walla though.
