Re: The Official SAN DIEGO PADRES GU Thread
Picked up a Scott Patterson jersey today looks like I may have photo matched it but the year in the game picture was September 2008 but the jersey has a 2009 tag I'm so confused. Why would this be?He only played for 3 games so I can't think they made him many jerseys? The numbers were removed but not the name is this common?
Thanks in advance

Re: The Official SAN DIEGO PADRES GU Thread
Please post photos of back and tags.
Though it's somewhat common for the Padres to have jerseys with names and no numbers (ready for player call up), being that it is a match is odd. Is there an outline of the numbers?
It is my understanding that the camouflage jerseys were stripped of names and used by the Tucson Padres.

Re: The Official SAN DIEGO PADRES GU Thread
The camo jerseys then weren't as easy to match are the ones now with a more random and smaller pattern. If you look at most of the jersey from that time it is the same pattern over and over and every player has the same pattern on their jersey although based on sizing and cuts it may end up in slightly different spots on each jersey. I have compared the camo jerseys from the last two season with the Padres and of the 100+ examples I have looked at there were not two that I couldn't easily tell apart.
Robert is right that the other side of that jersey doesn't match.Russell Wuerffel

Re: The Official SAN DIEGO PADRES GU Thread
Thanks for the feedback! Here is a picture of the wash tag and back. Other than getty what's a good place to find sports photos? What do the numbers represent on the wash tags?
Thanks again for the feedback
