    Re: Dom Dimaggio

H & B records for Dom DiMaggio document his first use of Model O1 bats (post-model number systerm) consistently between 3/14/46 and 2/26/48 ---- 19 consecutive orders totaling approximately 116 bats. Into the early 1950's, as your bat is described, saw Dom order another run of O1 bats in 1950 and 1951. Records that would match your bat (O1... 34"... Natural Finish) saw orders dated 7/28/50 (3 bats), 8/8/50 (9), 8/30/50 (6), 2/13/51 (12), and 3/29/51 (12). Other H & B models used by D. DiMaggio with some regularity include R43 and C119. In general, his typical O1 bat was 34 inches and 33 ounces.
